Sal Sciacchitano



Born in Detroit - Started playing the Alto Saxophone at age ten and was influenced by the Jazz & Motown Eras. Sal plays Saxophones, (Alto, Tenor, Soprano, & Baritone) Flute, Congas, and other percussion instruments, and also sings. He received his Music Theory Education at Macomb Community College, where he performed in Concert, Marching, and Stage bands. He has decades of experience playing in Wedding and Lounge Groups such as "Bazaar", "Coral", "Bland Allison", "Sound Investment", "Mainstream", & "Horizons". Sal toured with the show group "John Amore & the Love Machine", and played backup for T. Graham Brown. He has also donated his talents to many fund raising events. Sal has entertained in Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, Colorado, Ohio, and also in Ontario, Canada. Sal attended UCF, where he earned his BA in Radio/Television Communications, providing him with the production skills to be an accomplished studio engineer and recording artist. CD releases include "Saxy Feelin'", a collection of 6 Original Songs, and three favorite Covers, and "Christmas Songs to Share", which features five season classics. His latest release is a Music Video remix of his Original Song "Lucy". He is currently working on a new Single Release, and also a new Album.
